Martin O’Neill names 23-man Republic of Ireland squad for Euro 2016

MARTIN O’NEILL HAS named his 23-man squad for Euro 2016.

Seamus Coleman, Shay Given and Shane Duffy are all part of the party, as it Ciaran Clark – whose father Brian was brought up in Milford – and Aiden McGeady and James McCarthy, two Scottish-born players who qualify for Ireland due to their ancestry from west Donegal.

Ireland open their campaign with a fixture against Sweden in Group E on Monday, June 13, at the Stade de France in Paris before taking on Belgium in Bordeaux on Saturday, June 18. Then, on Wednesday, June 22, O’Neill’s face Italy in Lille.
