OPERATION TRANSFORMATION
The Operation Transformation TV Show is a huge hit on RTE every year and members of Malin GAA Club have decided this year to organise our very own version. This is geared at everybody in the parish across all ages and levels of fitness.
The main aim is to provide a support network for anyone looking to introduce health & wellbeing into their everyday life in a gradual and maintainable manner, all at no financial cost.
It will provide participants with the opportunity to meet like-minded individuals whilst also helping to create a “New You” in advance of the Festive Season. Our support team consists of Kate Kelly, Rosemary McColgan and Linda McGonagle; who will meet with the group on a weekly basis to update participants on the exercises and food recipes for the week ahead, which will all follow the Operation Transformation 2015 plan available online.
There will also be weekly walks locally for all levels which are optional. These will take place on a Sunday at 11.30am, Tuesday & Thursdays at 7.30pm. Everyone is welcome and joining is completely free of charge! Don’t forget you don’t have to be a member or player – the more the merrier. We are hosting an Information Evening on Monday 28th September at 8pm in the GAA club.
The Operation Transformation Malin GAA Style will then kick-off on Monday 5th October and will run every Monday for 8 weeks from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. At the end of the 8 weeks we will host a 5K Walk/Jog Event, which is completely optional and open to the public. Let’s get healthy! For more information please contact Kate Kelly on 0861708279, Linda McGonagle 0861555616 or Rosemary McColgan on 0863966016.
