CHLOE and Sam Magee pushed the world number threes all the way, but ultimately bowed out of the Korean Open.
At the Incheon Airport Skydome, the Raphoe siblings took Sapsiree Taerattanachai and Dechapol Puavaranukroh to three sets.
However, it was the Thailand pair who came out on top to win 21-8 20-22 21-10.
The Magees, bronze medalists at this year’s European Games in Minsk, defeated Chinese pair Ou Xuanyi and Feng Xueying in straight games, 21-18 21-18, to advance to today’s round of 16.
