Magees pipped by English pair in Kharkiv International quarter-final

SAM AND Chloe Magee lost out in the quarter-finals of the RSL Kharkiv International in Ukraine this morning.

The Raphoe siblings were beaten by England’s Gregory Mairs and Victoria Wiliams.

The Magees lost in three sets 23-21 16-21 21-19 at the Lokomotiv Sports Palace.

Yesterday, the Donegal pair defeated Callum Hemming and Jenny Moore from England 21-17 21-14 to move into the last eight.

The Magees will now head for Changzhou, China to compete in the Victor China Open.
