Magees move into last 16 at All-England Championships

Raphoe siblings Sam Magee and Chloe Magee have booked a place in the last 16 at the Yonex All-England Championships.

The Magees this afternoon defeated Russian duo of Rodion Alimov and Alina Davletova.

Last month, Alimov and Davletova overcame the Magees at the 2019 Mixed Team Championships, but in Birmingham today the Magees were in flying form.

The Donegal pair took a 21-18 21-14 win to advance.

In the last 16, they will take on the fourth seeds, Dechapol Puavaranukroh and Sapsiree Taerattanachai from Thailand.
