Magees bow out of World Championships after defeat in China

Sam and Chloe Magee bowed out of the 2018 BWF World Championships this morning.

The Raphoe siblings lost out to Wang Chi-Lin and Lee Chia Hsin in the mixed doubles.

The world number 12s, from Taiwan, took victory 21-11 21-15 against the Donegal duo, who had defeated Fredrik Kristensen and Solvar Flaten Jorgensen yesterday in their opening game in Nanjing.

But the Taiwanese pairing, who are the 14th seeds for these Championships, proved too strong.
