LyIT women to face Cork IT in Kelly Cup today

Letterkenny Institute of Technology’s women’s soccer team are in WSCAI Kelly Cup action today.

Johnny Baird’s team face Cork IT in a round three clash at the AUL Complex in Dublin (kick-off 2pm).

In the last round, in Letterkenny at the end of November, goals from Zoe Green and Nicole Gordon gave LyIT a 2-1 win over UCD.

LyIT were in scintillating form pre-Christmas with a 3-1 win over IT Sligo – on a day when Green, Zoe McGlynn and Lauren Cregan scored – sealing a place in the League semi-finals.
