Loreto Community School, Milford will look to retain their Danske Bank Arthurs Cup title when they face St Joseph’s Grammar School, Donaghmore, in tomorrow’s final at Owenbeg (throw-in 11.30am).
Adrian Doherty’s charges overcame Loreto, Coleraine 3-10 to 1-7 in Thursday’s semi-final.
Kyle McFadden hit 1-4 with Ethan Cullen and Matthew McLaughlin each helping themselves to 1-1.
The Milford scholars are the Cup holders having beaten Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair in last season’s decider.
Doherty can call upon six players from last season for this one.
Loreto also recently defeated Abbey Vocational School to win the Donegal Schools title, McFadden leading the charge as they came from seven points down to win.
Loreto saw off Pobalscoil Ghaoth Dobhair, Rosses CS, St Columba’s Glenties, Knock and Loreto Coleraine to reach the Ulster final.
Having hammered St Paul’s of Bessbook in their semi-final, St Joseph’s will present a stern examinations of their credentials.
