FINN HARPS WELCOME Bray Wanderers in the SSE Airtricity Premier League tonight. We’re at Finn Park for live updates.
FULL-TIME – FINN HARPS 1-0 BRAY WANDERERS
Chris McNulty will have a match report online right away.
90+3 Andrew Lewis got into a good position down the left and drove the ball dangerously across the Harps area. Again there was nobody there. FH 1-0 BW
90 mins – Five minutes of time added on has been signalled. FH 1-0 BW
85 mins – Five left and Harps are holding on. It’s been a little anxious here but Richard Brush hasn’t been overly tested. Matthew Crossan is about to come on. FH 1-0 BW
80 mins – Michael Funston is being readied for his 301st Harps appearance. He replaces Dave Scully. FH 1-0 BW
77 mins – This is nervy from Harps and you can sense the anxiety running around the ground. Karl Moore got into a decent position there and could’ve looked inside but went for power. FH 1-0 BW
70 mins- Half- chance for Bray as Andrew Lewis finds a pocket of space some 20 yards from goal but his attempted lob on Richard Brush doesn’t have the level of conviction intended and falls wide. FH 1-0 BW
65 mins – Little in the way of goalmouth action with Bray getting most joy from the flanks but Harps sitting in well. From one such break, Adam Hanlon’s cross was headed wide by Tony McNamee on the stretch with goalkeeper Peter Cherrie not making it. FH 1-0 BW
55 mins – Good cross from the left, on the right, by Adam Hanlon and Dave Scully and Jason Marks clash heads with both players receiving treatment. Marks only came on at half-time. FH 1-0 BW
54 mins – Dylan Connolly sends a cross into the danger area for Bray Wanderers but, again, there’s no takers at the back post. This could be one of those battling halves of football. FH 1-0 BW
46 mins – Back on here and Jason Marks is on for Alan Byrne. FH 1-0 BW
Bray have already made one change in the first half, when Alan Byrne came on for Paul Finnegan, who hobbled off. Now, Byrne has been helped from the field with what looks like a back injury and mightn’t be back for the second half.
HALF-TIME – FINN HARPS 1-0 BRAY WANDERERS
45 mins – A loopy header from Andrew Lewis has to be slapped over the crossbar by Richard Brush and then from the corner, Dylan Connolly tested the Harps goalkeeper. FH 1-0 BW
41 mins – Damien McNulty has just been yellow carded. FH 1-0 BW
37 mins – A shot from Sean Harding is easily gathered by Richard Brush. FH 1-0 BW
30 mins – Bit of a lull after a frantic start. Harps well organised but Bray have seen plenty of the ball in this opening half hour. FH 1-0 BW
Gary Foy, newsandsportfiles.com, was on the ball with the camera to capture the Finn Harps celebrations after Dave Scully scored here at Finn Park against his former club
14 mins – Adam Hanlon with a brilliant effort that was headed for the top corner from 25 yards, which was excellently tipped over the crossbar at full stretch by Peter Cherrie. Great shot. Great save. FH 1-0 BW
12 mins – Dylan Connolly of Bray Wanderers fizzes a dangerous ball right across the Harps six-yard line but no takers. Bray are playing well. FH 1-0 BW
9 mins – GOAL FOR FINN HARPS
Totally against the run of play! Dave Scully tucks home from close range following a centre from Ryan Curran from the left. Sean Houston played Curran in wide. Bray had appealed for a penalty just moments earlier when Dylan Connolly went down under a clumsy challenge from Packie Mailey. FH 1-0 BW
6 mins – Chance for Bray Wanderers as Robbie Creevy heads wide following a cross by Hugh Douglas. Creevy was unchallenged and didn’t make the most of the chance. FH 0-0 BW
One change for Harps with Adam Hanlon back in the starting XI in place of Ethan Boyle.
