For the Glenswilly manager, Brendan Walsh, the result was all that counted – and his men got it.

A 0-12 to 0-5 win over Four Masters puts Glenswilly into another Donegal SFC semi-final; just an hour away from a sixth county final appearance. 

Glenswilly may not be advancing with their old panache, but they remain a dangerous opponent. 

“The result it what counts,” Walsh observed. 

“We have a lot to work on. We had some good things and some not to do. We have work to do, but we’re happy to be there. 

“We made hard work of it, but we got the job done.”
