THE DONEGAL Masters will hope to halt Dublin’s march for yet another All-Ireland title this weekend.
Dublin are looking to retain their title, but Val Murray’s Donegal stand in their way ahead of the final at St Faithleachs GAA club in Ballyleague, Rosccommon on Saturday. Throw-in is at 3.30pm.
Last year, Dublin beat us in a replay and we missed the chance in the first game,” Murray told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub ahead of the game.
“We just pulled away in the last couple of games against Galway and Roscommon. They were two hard-fought games.
“There is more of a drive this year.”
Donegal will look to the likes of John Haran, Johnny McCafferty, Seamie ‘Coshia’ Friel, Michael Ward and Brian McLaughlin for their inspiration.
Val Andrews is the Dublin manager and he can call on players such as Ray Cosgrove and Peadar Andrews.
