CAPPRY Rovers’ Paddy McNulty has predicted that the Donegal League title race will go ‘to the wire’.
The margin between Cappry, the League leaders, and second placed Kilmacrennan Celtic is now just three points after yesterday’s games.
While Kilmac’ won 3-2 against Donegal Town, Cappry were denied a win as Bonagee United’s Daniel Stolarczyk netted from a free kick with the last action of the game.
“Kilmac have a game in hand and there’ll be a lot of twists and turns,” McNulty told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“This will go to the wire. It’s a very hard League.”
Sean McBride put Cappry in front late in the game and it looked to be enough until Stolarczyk pounced.
McNulty said: “It’s a point gained. It keeps the unbeaten run going and we’re happy with the point. It was a hard, tight game.”
