TERMON manager Sean O’Donnell described as a ‘bitter pill’ yesterday’s Ulster final defeat to Donaghmoyne.
After 53 minutes of the hour, Termon’s plan was working and they were in front by the minimum, 1-9 to 1-8, only for a sin-binning and three late Donaghmoyne points to unravel the day.
“The girls tried to dog it out, but they just got the rub of the green,” O’Donnell told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“It’s a bitter pill. I’m devastated for the girls after the work they’ve put in all year. It is one that we left behind.”
Termon are without the likes of Roisin Friel, Maria Carr and Aibhe McDaid at the moment, while Roisin McCafferty could also be back for the 2020 campaign.
O’Donnell said: “Going forward, I’m happy. We will be back.”
