EMER GALLAGHER’S voice was crackling as the Termon captain looked back at an Ulster title missed.
Termon were piped at the post by Donaghmoyne 1-11 to 1-9 in today’s senior final in Killyclogher.
Nine points by Geraldine McLaughlin and a Lucy O’Flynn goal had Termon in front, but Donaghmoyne hit the last three points in a dramatic conclusion in which Termon lost Shannon McLaughlin to the sin-bin.
“We went out and gave it 100 per cent,” Gallagher told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“These things happen and we’ll build on it.
“We will have great belief coming into next year. Any other day we’d be Ulster champions. There is no reason we can’t push on and this game will stand to us.
“I’m very hopeful and optimistic about what this team has for the future.”
