SHAUN PAUL Barrett has backed his Donegal Under-20s to deliver against Monaghan tomorrow.
Donegal welcome Monaghan to Sean MacCumhaills Park for the Ulster Under-20 clash (throw-in 2pm) and Barrett believes his men are well primed.
“We’re ready to go,” Barrett told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport.
“Monaghan are very strong. They won the last two Ulster minors and have four fellas who played for the seniors.
“We knew that all along and we’re looking forward to the challenge.”
Barrett is missing Donegal senior panellists Oisin Gallen (shoulder) and Conor O’Donnell (ACL) through long-term injuries, but the Milford man remains upbeat.
He said: “Everyone is pushing for places and anyone could come in and do a job. We would have full confidence in any of them.
“A lot of fellas are pushing hard for places. It gives us headaches, but they’re good headaches. We’re in a good place at the moment and we have faith in them.”
