Ryan McKinley insists his Naomh Colmcille team will have to improve to capture the Junior A title.
Naomh Colmcille booked a place in the final thanks to a narrow win over Letterkenny Gaels last evening at O’Donnell Park.
Just two years ago, Naomh Colmcille were Intermediate finalists, but last year were relegated to the Junior grade again.
However, they stand now an hour away from glory again – with St Mary’s, Convoy or Red Hughs awaiting.
“The boys did well,” McKinley said, “but we need a better performance to win the Junior Championship. A performance like that won’t be good enough.”
