Richard Tinney believes that his Raphoe ladies can finish second in the Ulster Premier League in spite of yesterday’s loss to Omagh.
A 2-1 defeat at the Royal and Prior was Raphoe’s first reversal of the season.
“It was frustrating,” Tinney said.
“We did fight, but now how the Raphoe ladies fight.
“We were all over them in the last ten minutes and had plenty of chances, but didn’t put them in the back of the net.”
However, the Raphoe coach added: “My belief is that we will finish second.”
