Peadar Mogan believes that senior team experience was crucial for St Naul’s as they booked a place in the U21 ‘B’ final at the weekend.
Daniel Meehan and John Relihan netted the goals in a 2-9 to 0-7 win over Naomh Muire on Saturday afternoon.
Many of the St Naul’s players, including Mogan, lined out in this year’s Intermediate final, in which Milford overcame the Mountcharles men.
“John Mac (John McNulty, senior manager) has done a great job and a lot of those boys played in an Intermediate final and semi-final,” Mogan said.
“That makes a difference when it comes to the crunch.
“We got together a week before it started and we said we’d give it a rattle.”
