Nicole McLaughlin says Donegal’s strong squad is propelling them into contention for honours.
Reigning Ulster champions Donegal overcame Monaghan in an Ulster SFC semi-final last night in Omagh.
“The score doesn’t reflect how hard the game was and how defensive they played, but it’s good to get the win,” teak tough full-back McLaughlin said.
“It was tough, but it’s a good job we pulled it out at the end.
“We have a very strong bench there today. The bench is just as good as the team that’s playing.”
The Termon woman knows Donegal are on the pedestal following last year’s Ulster win.
She said: “Everyone wants to beat us, seeing as we won it last year. It’s a good place to be and we know it’ll be a tough final. We’re just pushing on now and it’s one game at a time.”
