Donegal U16’s ran riot in their one-sided clash against Fermanagh in the under 16 Buncrana Cup at Pairc Aodh Rua in Ballyshannon.
Following the emphatic result, Donegal Sport Hub’s Charlie Collins caught up with Donegal U16’s newly appointment manager Luke Barrett.
Barrett’s side recorded an energetic performance as they scored an impressive 37 points in total: eight goals and 13 points.
Much to the delight of Barrett who was delighted with the Donegal youngsters.
“There is a lot of good lads there,” he said. “They have been working hard over the last couple of weeks now and have been chomping at the bit to get at it.
“They done well pretty well (against) Fermanagh, there is probably tougher opposition in the next couple of weeks.
“But the boys did well and overall we are happy.”
