KAREN Guthrie knows all about Termon – and the Glenfin star is ready for another tense affair in Sunday’s county final.
Termon dethroned Glenfin in last year’s decider and the two joust again on Sunday at Sean Mac Cumhaill Park in the 2020 final.
Guthrie scored 1-12 in Sunday’s semi-final win over Moville for the An Gaeltacht Lár side and will be among the leading protagonists again at the weekend.
“It’s hard because you\re trying to keep girls fresh,” she said after Sunday’s win at Pairc Taobhoige.
“It’s trying to keep everyone fresh. It’s back-to-back and it’s like League football from Sunday to Sunday. It’ll be a tough week but we’re looking forward to it.”
The Donegal GAA ‘’Win your House in Dublin’ committee will be sponsoring a ticket to the Player of the Match for Sunday’s Senior Championship final.
On-song Guthrie could be a candidate after playing a starring role in the semi-final.
She said: “The girls are winning the frees, I stuck them over. The conditions helped that. Some days they go for you and some days they don’t.
“We had a tough day down in Moville and we always knew it would be a big challenge. We have to be the best version of ourselves every day we go out.”
