John Cunningham praised his young Killybegs charges as they maintained their perfect start to 2019.
On Saturday evening evening – despite being without Hugh McFadden and Eoghan Ban Gallagher – Killybegs overcame Four Masters to make it six wins from six games.
“They’re showing a huge appetite to play,” Cunningham told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“They’re trying to do what we’re asking of them. Our numbers are small and we were down to a bare 16 at the start of the match. We’re very pleased.
“We’re going well. We’ve had three home games on the trot. We’re delighted.
“Our boys are giving their all. As a bunch of lads, and a lot of them are very young, they gave a huge appetite.” Listen to the full interview below …
