Joe Boyle has urged the Donegal hurlers to ‘push on’ from their impressive start to 2017.
With the Division 3A title – and, with it, promotion into Division 2B – already secured, Donegal began their Nicky Rackard Cup campaign with an impressive win over Armagh on Saturday.
Donegal had nine points to spare as they trumped the Orchard 1-19 to 0-13.
“We targeted this game from last November when we knew the draw,” Boyle said.
[adrotate group=”91″]“It was a tough game out there and we know it’s only the first round with a long way to go yet.
“It would be brilliant to get back to Croke Park. We lost a lot of regulars from last year and it would be great to keep these young boys progress.”
