Gerard Melaugh says there are no more excuses left for Red Hughs as they look to end their wait for Championship glory.
Having waited since 1981, Melaugh says the time has to be now for the Monellan outfit.

A 1-10 to 0-6 loss to St Mary’s, Convoy last month, Melaugh says, was ‘the kick in the arse we needed’.
“We’ve worked hard and we’re focussed again,” the Red Hughs captain says.
“We hope to put it right this time. We’re mad to get over the line. There are no excuses left. The club is pulling out all the stops for us. Everyone is working hard.
“Seosamh’s planning has been top notch. He lives and breathes football and the boys have responded.”
Melaugh knows it won’t be easy in Saturday’s final against Urris.
He says: “Any battle we’ve had with Urris has gone to the wire. They break well and they score goals.”
