The Donegal Schoolboys 2007s overcame the holders DDSL to win the Sligo Super Cup at the Showgrounds today.
An emotional Johnny McGroarty hailed his side after their penalty shoot-out win.
Donegal won 3-1 on spot kicks after a 1-1 draw, with Carragher Friel on target.
“I’m lost for words,” McGroarty told Ocean FM’s Austin O’Callaghan.
“It’s unbelievable. We told the boys to empty the tanks and they empties the tank.
The boys are learning,. Listening and adapting.”
Donegal began with a 2-1 win over Mayo, with Ruairi Connaghan and Jack Mawditt on the mark.
Connaghan netted in a 1-0 win over Derby County before Friel and Seaghan McCormick secured a 2-1 win against Aberdeen.
