Diarmuid O’Brien hailed his Inishowen League side as they reached their third Oscar Traynor Trophy final with a heroic semi-final win over Limerick in Buncrana today.
“When you go into the last minute and you’re a goal down, it looks bleak,” O’Brien said.
“We had to probe, probe and probe – and we did that. What a finish from Terence, on the half-turn.
“We have instilled in them that we play how we want and if a game is in the melting pot we’ll always have a chance.”
Inishowen will play Clare or Wexford in the final – and will have home advantage at Maginn Park.
