Declan Bonner believes that Sean MacCumhaill Park will be ‘something special’ on Sunday as Donegal and Tyrone joust for a place in an All-Ireland semi-final.
The two tribes go to war with a last four berth up for grabs before a packed house.
Donegal are without Patrick McBrearty and Eoghan Ban Gallagher, but have not lost a League or Championship game in Ballybofey since 2010.
“We always sensed it was going to be something special,” Bonner said.
“We need to go and get a victory. It’s a huge match, no doubt about it. It’s the biggest game MacCumhaill Park will have hosted. We have a good record there, but we have to lift our performance.
“There’s a great buzz there at the minute and where else would you rather be?”
