Declan Bonner believes his Donegal are ready for Sunday’s Ulster final against Fermanagh in Clones.
20 years on from his first Ulster final as Donegal manager, Bonner is back at the helm and is 70 minutes away from delivering the Anglo Celt back to the county again.
Donegal will be without full-back Neil McGee, but Bonner has full confidence in his side.
“I feel they’re in a good place,” Bonner said.
“They’ve worked extremely well and they have to bring that into Sunday.
“It’s been great the games coming every two weeks. We have a good routine and the boys are pushing hard. We have guys battling to be in the match day squad. That creates good quality training session.”
Fermanagh shocked Monaghan in the first semi-final before Donegal annihilated Down in the other last four tie.
Donegal are hot favourites, but Bonner knows Rory Gallagher’s team are capable of coming with a kick.
He said: “We don’t bother too much about who’s favourites and who isn’t. We know that if we bring what we expect in terms of performance it will be good enough to give us a chance most days.”
