In the end it was certainly comfortable for Gaoth Dobhair as they overcame St Naul’s in Mountcharles this afternoon in the Donegal SFC.
Gaoth Dobhair ran in winners on a 4-10 to 0-5 scoreline, thanks to goals from Cian Mulligan, Kevin Cassidy and a brace from Eamon Collum in the sunshine.
However, it was sloppy on occasion and Daire Ó Baoill was of the opinion afterwards his team will have to raise their standards if they are to reclaim the Dr Maguire Cup they last won in 2018.
