Captain Grainne Houston says Glenfin showed they’re a ‘special group’ of players as they overcame Moville in the Donegal senior ladies final this afternoon.
“We showed great heart in the last ten minutes,” victorious skipper Houston said.
““It was a very hard game. There were periods where I thought we were going to lose and the next thing we got another goal.
“We dug deep. No-one gave up and that made the difference. We had to hold it and it worked out.”
The former Donegal player had a big influence all season and it was a proud moment as she took receipt of the silverware.
Houston said: “They’re a special group of players. It’s just brilliant. There is definitely something special within the players.”
