Barry Doherty says it has been ‘too long’ since Kilcar won a Donegal SFC final.
It’s 24 years, in fact, since they won their last title.

Having been beaten in last year’s final by Glenswilly, new manager Doherty – who took the reigns following the departure of Martin McHugh – says it’s time to end the famine.

“It’s been too long,” he said.
“I was a senior player for 14 years too and we didn’t really compete. We’ve been getting closer. The day will come where these players have to get over the line.
