THE ULSTER Senior League head for Dublin on Friday for the 2019 FAI Intermediate Interprovincial Tournament.
The USL selection is again under the management of Anthony Gorman.
USL begin their weekend with a game against Connacht on Friday night.
Their panel is shorn of the experience of the likes of Michael Funston, Jonny Bonner, Jimmy Bradley, Mark Moran and Oisin McColgan.
“Quality wise, we have some good quality, but that real experience and guile is missing,” Gorman told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“There is an awful lot of quality in the squad,” Gorman noted.
“We’re looking forward to it.
“It’s a wee bit early for us. We’re into October and we’ve found it difficult to get friendlies.
“With the squad we’ve assembled, we’ve been together for four or five sessions and have had a couple of practice games.
“It’s been difficult to nail down a squad and finalise it. It’s a commitment and lads have work and families. Every player we have here was in the initial squad. We had a list of 30 names and everyone going was on the original 30.”
