MARTIN Regan admitted an ‘eerie’ feeling as Naomh Conaill continued their quest to retain the Donegal SFC crown.
Naomh Conaill made it four-from-four with a 1-17 to 0-8 win over Glenswilly to seal a home quarter-final against Glenfin.
Dermot Molloy’s late goal copper fastened another routine win for the champions in a game played behind closed doors.
“It’s an eerie feeling with championship and no-one shouting and roaring at you,” Regan told Donegal Daily/Donegal Sport Hub.
“Our training hasn’t been affected too badly. We have trained much the same. We have some men working from home now so it’s probably added to training with more people around the area.
“Our aim was to finish in the top four. We haven’t played any of the top teams yet. We know what’s ahead of us now.”
