Liam Ward to lead Glenfin again in 2016

LIAM WARD will again manage the Glenfin senior football team in 2016.

Ward has been at the helm at Pairc Taobhoige for the last two season and will have a third year in charge after being re-appointed at the club’s AGM on Sunday.

Glenfin managed to stave off relegation to Division 3 of the All-County League thanks to a play-off win over Burt at The Scarvey.

Four times in recent seasons Glenfin have survived in play-offs, twice in the Championship and, now, twice in the League.

Ward will again be assisted by Pat Campbell in 2016, while Paddy Doherty has been named as the new reserve manager at Glenfin.
