Eamon McConigleys USL side played their first preseason game last week and shared the spoils 2-2 with a very good Park Bar side.
Darren McElwaine with a penalty and Kevin McGrath the scorers for Rovers. They are hopefully back in action next Wednesday as we are awaiting final confirmation of opposition at time of going to press. Full fixture details can be found on our facebook page.
It is a very busy time within the club as arrangements are continuing to be put in place for the upcoming season across all teams  from schoolboys right through to the senior team.
To that end a meeting of all underage coaches and managers will take place in Leckview Park on Tuesday next ( August 11th) at 7pm to discuss issues arising ahead of the new campaign.
The club is also seeking coaches/volunteers to assist with the running of our underage teams.
We are, in particular, looking for help at the under-12 age level but anybody willing to assist at any age group is always greatly appreciated.
The club can only continue to sustain the high number of teams and players if parents/persons are willing to come forward and help out.
The club is delighted to be associated with the Letterkenny Reunion and will host  the Reunion Cup at Leckview Park on Friday evening as Glencar/Burma, Iona, Lurgybrack and Oldtown lock horns with the competition to be completed on the night. There promises to be some local legends in action and it should be a good nights crack. Action gets underway at 530pm.
