All energies from the club were focused on last week’s Foyle Cup were we had four teams participating.
Our under-10s and under-12s both topped their groups with maximum points and were unfortunate to meet the eventual winners and runners up in their categories in the quarter finals.
Derek Plumb’s under-10s side eventually finished eighth from 48 entrants while the under-12 Rovers side finished sixth from 32 sides.
Letterkenny United under-12s made their debut at this years tournament and a 1-0 win against Trojans was one of many highlights of their week.
Anthony Gormans under-19s had a mixed week of results but won two of their five matches defeating Killen Rangers and Ashgrove Rovers with Ryan McCloskey scoring a brace of goals in the 2-0 win over Ashgrove last Thursday.

Eamonn McConigley’s Ulster Senior League side were scheduled to play their first preseason game against Park Bar last night ( Wednesday).
Last weekend’s friendly match against Enniskillen was postponed due to a bereavement within the Fermanagh club.
Preparations are continuing ahead of the upcoming 19s League of Ireland season and the Donegal Youth League season which are looming large.
Mini Lotto numbers this week were 2-3-17 and 22.
