Last weekend saw our Seniors have a super 2-1 victory over Midleton to advance to the last eight of the FAI intermediate Cup.
Paul McVeigh and Darren McElwaine were the scorers, The club were delighted to see such a big support which was there to cheer on the boys and lets hope they can keep their winning run going when we host Bonagee in the League this Sunday at the Aura. kick off is at 2pm.
Elsewere last week our under-12s Crusaders kept a fine season going with a 7-1 win at Milford Blues. Goalscorers in that one were Kian McGrath, Oisin McCann, Donal Gallagher, Cuba, Michael D and Christopher Diver (x2).
Our under-12s Rovers lost 2-0 at home to Milford while our Youths lost out 4-2 to Keadue. Conor O’Donnell got both Rovers goals.
Our under-14s Rovers defeated Keadue 5-1 with goals from Ciaran Moore, Nathan Plumb, Dermot Slevin and David Boyle (x2).
Big day again in the SFAI National Cup when our under-13s head to play Castlebar Celtic on Saturday at 2pm. We would like to wish everyone involved led by manager Michael Boyle the very best in this last 32 game.
Saturday also sees our under-16s at Gweedore Celtic while our Youths finally get back into action after a long layoff when Fanad are the visitors to the Aura at 2pm in the league.
