On Saturday, the Connolly Mercedes Open Weekend Day 1 was played at Letterkenny Golf Club.
Kevin Rafferty (5) won with 38 points. On his journey around the course he got an eagle, two birdies and nine pars. He also won gross. Great golf.
Above Captain Colin Morrow with Sponsor Sheamus McMonagle, winners left Shane Scanlan and right J P Clarke.
Kenny King (8) came in a close 2nd with 37 points having got a birdie and 11 pars.
Chris Wuertz (26) came in 3rd with 36 points (bot) with Kevin Hannigan (7) 4th with 36 points.
The Connolly’s Mercedes Open Weekend Competition Day 2 was played the following day Sunday.
Tony Duffy (18) who has been showing good form all year won with an excellent score of 41 points. He got a birdie and 4 pars around the course.
Gerry O’Sullivan (17) came in 2nd with 39 points and Tommy Greally (19) came in 3rd with 38 points.
Cian Harkin (3) won gross 38 points.
