Jack McGarrigle (7.8) won the Members Competition in stunning fashion in Letterkenny on August 19 with an excellent score of 42 points.
McGarrigle managed two birdies on the third and ninth holes including an impressive 12 pars.
Pat Bonnar (12.0) came in second with 39 points, with Michael Collum (5.4) coming in third with 38 points. (BOT). Christopher Duffy (4.6) won Gross with 38 points.
The Kelly’s Toyota Open was played on Saturday August 18, Lawrence Duggan (19.2) turned in a great score of 43 points. Duggan is certainly on fire showing great skill on the golf course this being his second win in recent weeks.
Lawrence took 7 pars from the course, while Keith Spence (11.2) had to settle for second place with an excellent score of 42 points.
Shaun Callaghan finished in third place with 41 points. Kevin Rafferty (4.9) took Gross with 41 points.
Ian Daly (17.0) won the Eamonn Stevenson Financial Services Open on August 15 – coming in with a winning score of 42 points.
Daly took 8 pars out of the course on his round. Dermot Rainey (13.2) – who was in playing very steady golf turning in good scores – was runner-up with 40 points.
Henry McCahey (10.1) who is never very far away from the winning arena also posted 40 points – coming in at a respectable third place.
