Letterkenny Gaels U-16 girls come out on top against Naomh Colmcille

Tonight at Pairc na nGael our U-16 girls claimed a league victory over neighbours Naomh Colmcille of Newtoncunningham.

Naomh Colmcille 2-3

This competitive game played by two young teams was both entertaining and exciting. Both teams showed great skill but the superior fire power of the Glebe girls (pictured above) proved to be the difference in the end.

Letterkenny Gaels are continually striving to encourage and develop girls and ladies football within the club and this year at underage level we have started a girls only U-8 team and the future looks bright.
