MILFORD are in prime position for promotion in the Centra Supermarkets All-County Football League Division Three.
The Moyle View Park side are currently five points ahead of Aodh Ruadh and Burt in the standings and will want to keep their feet on the accelerator as Letterkenny Gaels are their Saturday evening guests.
Gaels were in competitive action last weekend when two Conor McBrearty (pictured above) goals gave them a 2-8 to 1-10 win over Red Hugh’s in the Mount Errigal Junior A Championship Group 1.
Also on Saturday, Downings, who are second from bottom, welcome Naomh BrÃd to Pairc na nDunaibh.
Sunday’s fare at Hibernian Park will give Milford their nearest challenger. Currently, there’s nothing between Burt and Aodh Ruadh, with the sides locked on 16 points from 11 played.
It’s a similar story for the chasing pack. Urris welcome Buncrana in an Inishowen derby keen to add to their one-point advantage. Naomh Colmcille are third from bottom with six points this season and will be looking to ease their relegation worries with victory over table-croppers Red Hugh’s in Newtowncunningham.
