The County semi-final was hosted by Club Naomh Pádraig in Muff. Méabh Ní Chathail won the solo ballad competition and the ballad group – Bernie Frain, Katrina Patton, Deirdre Ní Dhochartaigh, Geraldine Hanley and Méabh Ní Chathail also won their section with two beautiful songs.
These will now go through to the Donegal County Final this coming Friday 29th January at 7.30 in Glenswilly. The music group consisting of Deirdre Ní Dhochartaigh, Marian Kerr and Deirdre Diver were highly praised by the judges.
The Quiz team of Paul Melaugh, John Hughes, Tom Murray and Danny Cahill performed very well although there were a few heated debates about some of the answers! Over the last number of years Letterkenny Gaels offered club members the option of buying Club Donegal Cards which entitled the owner access to all Adult Club games within the county.
The GAA have now changed the format of Season Tickets which combines the Club Donegal and GAA Season Ticket. We are encouraging members to apply now for a season ticket if interested. The ticket costs €200 with a rebate of €100 going towards our club levies on each card sold.
Purchasing one of the cards will entitle the owner to : admission to all Adult Club Games within the control of Donegal GAA (does not include games at U-18 Grade & Lower), All National League Games that Donegal play in, 1st Round of the Ulster Championship, Option to purchase tickets for the Championship as Donegal progress, Option to purchase All Ireland Final Ticket should Donegal qualify. No Attendance Record Required. Log on to gaa. ie/seasonticket and follow the instructions.
The purchaser must choose Letterkenny Gaels from the dropdown menu. The rebate will be payable to the club once verified by Croke Park.

Camogie training and the winter league for u-8 & u-10 teams resumes this Friday 29th of January from 6-6.45pm at the LYIT. U-12 camogie and girls circuits will also resume on 29th from 7-8pm. New members always welcome. Contact 086 8163505 for more details.

Underage football will resume on Friday 5th February at 6pm for u-6 at Woodlands NS and u-8 in the Aura at 7.30pm.
Underage football presentation night takes place this Saturday 30th January in the Gaels Club Room.
