In a very tight physical but sporting game Letterkenny Gaels showed great initiative and took an early lead.

The Gaels pressed on and maintained a comfortable margin to the end of the 1st half. Playing with the wind in the second half St Eunans mounted a come back and narrowed a two-goal lead to a single goal.
With just a puck of the sliotar between the teams Gaels rallied again and pressed home the advantage winning by 4-2 to 2-2. Most pleasing for the  Gaels management team was the commitment given by every player, giving their all for their team and club.
