LETTERKENNY ABC’s Paddy McShane is through to a National Junior Cadet final after scoring an impressive win in Dublin yesterday.
McShane already has one Irish title to his name this year, having scooped the Boy 3 title and is now on the scent of another.

McShane defeated Johnny Joyce from Mullingar at the National Stadium yesterday to move into the 36kgs final.
The Letterkenny clubman won the first and third rounds with Joyce having the edge in the second.
The win puts McShane into next Friday’s final where he’ll meet Portlaoise’s Odhrán McInerney.
Yesterday, McInerney caught the eye with an excellent win against Jake Ward of Darndale.
McShane defeated MJ O’Brien to win the Boy 3 title in April and will aim for another slice of glory on the South Circular Road on Friday night.
There was disappointment for his clubmate Michael O’Donnell, who lost a 52kgs quarter-final to the impressive Paddy Myers of Sligo City on Friday night.
