Letterkenny 24/7 had two members racing at the Belfast Titanic Triathlon on Sunday.
This race takes place in the Titianic Quarter in Belfast city centre with the 1500m swim in the quay beside the Odessy Arena  and the 40km bike and 10k run in the surrounding docklands. With driving rain, high winds and a drop in air temperature this was to be a difficult days racing.
Jack Brennan had his debut at this distance putting in a great swim and bike time and showing how the hard work over the winter is paying off having completed the course in 2:26:19. Patrick Patton had a steady race with his 10km laps being consistent bringing him home in a time of 2:41:58.
This weekend will see a number of members racing in Omagh at the Tri The Lough triathlon. Good luck to all who are racing.
The club continues with its summer training. Please see our club website wwwletterkenny247.com or our Facebook page.
