Letterkenny Under-12 girls win Ulster Community Games title

LETTERKENNY UNDER-12 Community Games girls team won the Ulster final on Saturday and are through to the All-Ireland finals.

A goal by Erin Doherty of Lagan Harps gave the Letterkenny team, coached by Paddy McDaid and Natalie McFadden, a 1-0 win over Monaghan in the final at the Templemore Sports Complex in Derry.

They now go through to the All-Ireland finals in Athlone.

The squad comprised: Marie Rushe, Nicole McDaid (both Illistrin), Erin Doherty, Emma Gribben, Aoife Sweeney, Niamh Sweeney (all Lagan Harps), Hannah Hopkins, Eva Harvey, Kelsey McGrory and Grace Murphy (all Bonagee United).
