Gallen overcame Joanna Czerwinska from Erne to win the Ulster Girl 6 66kgs title.
Gallen, a 2018 European Junior bronze medallist, took a unanimous 5-0 decision.
Gallen’s win came on a good day for Donegal boxing at the Rochesters club in Derry.
Gallen was one of three Donegal boxers to win a title in the ring today.
Lani Lafferty from Twin Towns overcame Keelin Crowley from Erne 4-1 in the Girl 2 49kgs final.
Carleigh Irving from Illies Golden Gloves defeated Aine McKenna from Ederney. In the Girl 3 47kgs final, Irving proved too strong as the referee stopped the bout in the second round.
A further seven Donegal boxers received walkover wins: Maureen Bradley, Rebecca McGlinchey (Letterkenny), Sarah Marie Duffy (Illies), Brenda Collins, Anna Doherty (Dunree), Cody Lafferty (Raphoe) and Molly Simmons (Carndonagh).
These girls all go through to the Irish Girl Championships, which start on Friday night at the National Stadium and will run for the next three weekends.
Meanwhile, next Sunday, a Donegal select will face Mayo in an inter-county tournament at Letterkenny ABC.
The 14-fight card is a fundraiser for a Donegal select that will travel to Boston from June 27-July 2 in conjunction with Donegal County Council.
