DONEGAL’S RBS WOMEN’S SIX NATIONS trio are named in the Ireland squad to take on England in a first Autumn International at Twickenham on Saturday.
Cappry’s Larissa Muldoon is named at scrum-half, with Nora Stapleton from Fahan at replacement out-half and Moville native Katie Norris a second-row on the bench. The team is captained by Waterford’s Niamh Briggs at full-back.
The north-western trio were part of the Tom Tierney’s squad that won the Six Nations in March, when they hammered Scotland 73-3 at the Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld.

in 2013, Muldoon and Stapleton played their part as Ireland clinched the Grand Slam for the first time in their history.
In fact, Muldoon has certainly enjoyed her recent jousts with England.
She scored the all-important try as Ireland won their Six Nations clash at Ashbourne, Co Meath 11-8 in March (see video below). Twelve months beforehand, the now 24-year-old also touched down at Twickenham in 2014, on an evening when England ran out 13-10 winners.
