The Killybegs GAA club have withdrawn an appeal to the Ulster Council regarding the All-County Football League Division 3 play-offs.
Killybegs (pictured) were crowned as the winners of Division 3 and presented with the cup.
They had finished level on points with Naomh BrÃd and Buncrana.
It had seemed as if Killybegs and Naomh BrÃd would be promoted to Division 2, on scoring average in games between the three teams.
Buncrana queried the decision and asked the County Secretary, Aideen Gallen, to get clarification from the Rules Advisory Committee on the Rule and Regulation used.
The regulation used to separate the teams is for Championship only and, so, a three-way play-off was determined to see who advances.
Killybegs appealed that decision to the Ulster Hearings Committee and were due to have a hearing tonight. However, the Fintra-based club have withdrawn their appeal and the play-offs will go ahead as planned.
This Sunday in Ballybofey, Killybegs will take on Naomh BrÃd.
On Sunday-week, Killybegs face Buncrana with Naomh BrÃd and Buncrana playing on November 25.
