KILCAR MOVED IMPRESSIVELY through the gears at a drenched Towney to see off Termon with minimal fuss.

The side managed by Martin McHugh head to O’Donnell Park to take on St Eunan’s in good form having won all but one of their AllSportStore.com All-County Football League Division 1 fixtures this term.
That one reversal was in a starred fixture against league leaders Gaoth Dobhair by a single point.
Against Termon, Kilcar had nine scorers, while the visitors – who were missing a number of players but most notably their main scoring forward Daire McDaid – only saw two men on the scoresheet, with Ricky Gallagher accounting for four of their five points.

Kilcar were 0-8 to 0-2 in front at half-time with Stepehn McBrearty, Mark Sweeney and Mark McHugh getting the ball rolling before a rare score from corner-back Pauric Carr.

In the second half, with the place now sapping, Kilcar continued to push on. Aodhán McGinley scored what proved to be the only goal of the match on 33 minutes.
And between then and the conclusion, Kilcar saw further points tagged over. Ciaran McGinley scored two to add to his point in the first half, with Stephen McBrearty, Andrew and Matthew McClean, Sweeney and Aodhán McGinley all on the mark.
